Job Description
I. JOB OBJECTIVE
Develop the market and sales for equipment, consumables, and microbiology media serving the food safety, food testing, beverage, water, and environmental testing sectors, targeting customers such as:
- Food processing plants, beverage manufacturers, seafood, dairy, spices, agricultural products, and drink producers
- Food testing centers, research institutes, and government regulatory agencies
- Internal laboratories complying with ISO 17025, ISO 22000, HACCP, and GMP
Main Objectives:
✅ Achieve monthly / quarterly / annual sales targets
✅ Expand and maintain strategic customer networks
✅ Increase LABone brand presence in the food safety sector
⚙️ II. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Customer & Market Development
- Identify, develop, and maintain new customers in:
- Food processing plants, beverage manufacturers, seafood, dairy, spices, bottled water, etc.
- Food safety testing centers, research institutes, Center 3, Quatest, Pasteur Institute, Nafiqad
- Develop potential customer lists by region and product segment
- Analyze customer needs and develop suitable sales and engagement strategies
2. Technical Consultation & Product Introduction
Introduce and provide technical consultation for products including:
- Microbiology media for food testing: TSA, VRBA, Baird Parker, XLD, EMB, SDA, BPW, TSB, etc.
- Testing equipment: Laminar flow cabinets, biological safety cabinets, colony counters, air sampling equipment
Coordinate with QA/QC and R&D teams to provide COA, CO, CQ, MSDS, user manuals, and SOPs to customers.
Organize product demonstrations, workshops, and technical training sessions at customer laboratories.
3. Contract & Order Management
- Prepare quotations, commercial contracts, and tender documents following company procedures
- Monitor the full sales process: Quotation → Order → Delivery → Acceptance → Payment
- Coordinate with Sales Admin, Accounting, and Warehouse teams to ensure timely and quality delivery
- Track receivables, delivery status, and customer feedback after sales
4. Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain long-term relationships with existing customers through visits, sample delivery, product updates, and promotional programs
- Receive customer feedback, coordinate with QA/QC for complaint handling, and support timely resolution
- Identify new project opportunities and develop quarterly strategic customer care plans
5. Marketing & Brand Development Support
- Support Marketing in organizing industry seminars and exhibitions
- Participate in product training, technical article writing, and marketing content development
- Update and share knowledge of new technical standards in food safety (ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP)
Job Requirements
1. Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Food Technology, Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Engineering, or related fields.
2. Experience
- At least 1–3 years of experience in one or more of the following fields:
- Laboratory equipment sales
- Microbiological culture media
- Chemicals
- Food industry or related sectors
3. Professional Knowledge
- Good understanding of standards such as ISO 22000, HACCP, and ISO 17025
- Knowledge of microbiological testing processes in the food industry
4. Skills
- Strong communication and technical consulting skills
- Sales planning and revenue management skills
- Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Excel
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills
5. Personal Qualities
