Job Description
🎯 I. Job Objective
Develop and manage a distribution dealer network for equipment, blood collection tubes, and microbiology media used in clinical diagnostics (hospitals, laboratories, medical centers, biological labs, research institutes).
Objectives:
- Expand nationwide dealer coverage
- Ensure sales revenue and volume targets for diagnostic equipment and microbiology media are achieved
- Build sustainable partnerships with dealers, distributors, and healthcare institutions
⚙️ II. Key Responsibilities
1. Dealer Development & Expansion
- Identify and select dealers, distributors, and medical trading companies capable of distributing equipment, laboratory consumables, reagents, and microbiology media
- Analyze market potential by region (hospitals, testing centers, Pasteur Institutes, Centers for Disease Control – CDC, research institutes)
- Negotiate pricing policies, discount structures, sales targets, territory protection, and technical support programs
- Prepare distribution contracts and Dealer Business Plans
2. Product & Technical Support for Dealers
Train dealers on:
- Microbiology and biomedical equipment: biological safety cabinets, laminar flow cabinets, fume hoods, gravimetric sample dilution systems, etc.
- Diagnostic media and reagents: Blood agar, Chocolate agar, MacConkey, EMB, XLD, TSI, Urea agar, thioglycolate, TSA, TSB, etc.
Support dealers in presenting technical solutions to end customers (hospitals, laboratories, Pasteur Institutes, Malaria-Parasitology-Entomology Institutes, etc.).
Provide documentation including catalogs, COA, CQ, SDS, user manuals, and technical SOPs.
Participate with dealers in product demonstrations, trials, and customer seminars.
3. Contract, Order & Dealer Policy Management
- Monitor and manage dealer sales performance, discount programs, receivables, and order status
- Ensure compliance with the full process: Quotation → Order → Delivery → Acceptance → Payment
- Coordinate with Sales Admin, Accounting, Warehouse, and QA teams to ensure delivery schedules
- Propose regional incentive programs, promotions, and marketing support for dealers
4. Territory Management & Partner Relationship Management
- Maintain regular engagement with dealers, hospitals, and key customers
- Collect market feedback, competitor intelligence, and new product demands
- Prepare periodic reports (weekly/monthly/quarterly) on dealer performance, project opportunities, and key products
- Ensure LABone brand representation by dealers aligns with company standards
5. Marketing & Industry Event Support
Coordinate with the Marketing team to organize:
- Scientific seminars, workshops, and technical training for hospitals and dealers
- Medical, microbiology, and analytical exhibitions (Analytica, Medi-Pharm, etc.)
Support technical article writing and provide content for diagnostic product marketing communications.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biomedical Science, Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Medical Equipment Engineering, or Healthcare Business Administration.
Experience: At least 2 years of experience in medical equipment, laboratory diagnostics, reagents, or microbiology media sales.
Professional Knowledge: Understanding of microbiological diagnostic products and standards such as ISO 13485, ISO 15189, GLP, and GMP.
Skills: Negotiation, presentation, dealer development planning, CRM management, and professional communication.
Personal Attributes: Dynamic, honest, growth-oriented, cooperative, and able to work under sales pressure.
