Job Description

🎯 I. JOB OBJECTIVES

Develop market share and sales for microbiological equipment and culture media used in Pharmaceutical, Vaccine, Biotechnology, Nutraceutical manufacturing, and Government Testing Laboratories, ensuring:

  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Expand potential customer base (GMP, ISO 17025 facilities)
  • Maintain sustainable and professional relationships with key customers

⚙️ II. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Market & Customer Development

  • Identify and build relationships with new customers in the following sectors:
  • Pharmaceutical, vaccine, biotechnology, nutraceutical, and GMP cosmetic manufacturing plants
  • Testing institutes, healthcare centers, and universities
  • Research demand for microbiological testing equipment, consumables, and culture media for each customer segment
  • Classify and update customer databases (CRM) based on region, scale, and potential
  • Propose market penetration strategies, promotional programs, and pricing policies tailored to each industry segment

2. Technical Consultation & Solution Support

  • Provide consultation on suitable microbiology equipment, biosafety solutions, and culture media, including:
  • Biosafety cabinets, laminar airflow cabinets
  • Culture media and sterility testing media
  • Coordinate with R&D/QA departments to provide COA, CO, CQ, MSDS, user manuals, and testing standards
  • Support customers with sample testing, technical guidance, and process validation

3. Quotation – Contract – Order Management

  • Prepare quotations, bidding documents, and sales contracts in compliance with company policies
  • Monitor approval, delivery, and payment processes in collaboration with Sales Admin and Accounting teams
  • Ensure on-time delivery commitments and minimize outstanding debts
  • Report sales performance, customer pipeline, and revenue forecasts on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis

4. Technical Support & After-Sales Service

  • Coordinate with technical teams for equipment installation, training, and acceptance procedures
  • Monitor product performance, warranty status, and customer feedback
  • Resolve after-sales issues (if any) and maintain customer satisfaction rate ≥ 90%

5. Marketing & Product Training Activities

  • Support organization of technical seminars, workshops, and customer conferences
  • Continuously update knowledge on microbiological products, techniques, and the latest GMP/GLP/ISO standards
  • Contribute technical content for promotional materials, catalogues, marketing publications, and website content


Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Medical Equipment Engineering, or related fields

Experience: ≥1–3 years of experience in sales of laboratory equipment, chemicals, or microbiological testing consumables

Professional Knowledge: Understanding of GMP, GLP, ISO 17025 standards; basic knowledge of microbiological equipment and cleanroom environments

Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and technical presentation skills; sales planning ability; proficient in Excel, CRM, and ERP systems

Personal Attributes: Proactive, honest, able to work under pressure, and committed to long-term career development
